Every page

Cloudflare, Inc., a US company, delivers this site and keeps it secure. When you open any page, Cloudflare sees your IP address, the page you ask for and your browser details.

Cloudflare may process this data in the United States. Cloudflare keeps it under its own privacy policy, which explains how it protects data sent there.

The site runs on servers rented from a cloud hosting provider. These servers log each request, for example the page you asked for, whether it loaded, and your browser type. The log may also hold your IP address.

This site sets no cookies of its own.

The map on the Traveling page

The map on the Traveling page comes from Google. When that page opens, your browser sends Google your IP address and browser details. Your browser may also send cookies that Google set earlier.

Google may set a cookie.

No other page on this site loads anything from Google.

Google may process this data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google decides how it uses this data. Read Google's privacy policy.

If you email me

If you email me, I get your email address and your message. I use them only to reply. My mailbox is with Google.

Links to other sites

Links to other sites load nothing until you click them. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Why I use this data

I use this data to run this site, keep it secure, show my map and answer your email. The legal basis is my legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Every website needs your IP address to load. Emailing me is your choice.

Your rights

You can ask me to see, correct or delete your data, or to limit or object to how I use it. Email me at the address above.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example in the EU country where you live or work.

This site falls under Estonia's Data Protection Inspectorate.
